 We employ a progressive approach to our lessons, utilizing a step-by-step instruction method that builds upon previously acquired skills. By following a progression approach, players can systematically improve their abilities and develop a comprehensive understanding of pickleball.

- Vetta Sports -
Instructor

Our instructor is affiliated with Vetta Sports. All booked lessons will take place at either Vetta West or Vetta GameTime. All students must visit Pickleball - Vetta Sports and create a free account prior to scheduling lessons.  All payments are handled electronically.

An IPTPA instructor has successfully completed a comprehensive three-part testing program. Each year, they further enhance their teaching skills and knowledge through mandatory training programs. Mitch Rose

Mitch brings a wealth of knowledge, passion, and infectious enthusiasm to every court. Mitch began his pickleball journey in 2020 during the pandemic. His dedication to the sport of pickleball is evident in his meticulous attention to technique, strategy, and overall fitness, making him a well-rounded instructor and player.

Passion for Teaching

Teaching has always been a natural extension of Mitch’s love for pickleball. He loves sharing his expertise with players at the beginner, beginner intermediate, and junior levels. Mitch’s coaching philosophy centers on creating a supportive and inclusive environment where players can develop their skills, build confidence, and, most importantly, have fun. In 2024, Mitch took his passion for teaching pickleball a step further by obtaining his certification from the International Pickleball Teaching Professional Association (IPTPA). He currently holds a certificate for Level 1 and Junior instruction.

Pickleball Advocate

Off the court, Mitch is an enthusiastic advocate for promoting pickleball in local communities and proudly serves as an ambassador for Six Zero Paddles. As the owner of Nolensvillepickleball.com and SCCPickleball.com, Mitch provides platforms where you can inquire about lessons, purchase merchandise, including Six Zero Paddles, discover local playing spots, and access a wealth of helpful tips and information. When not playing or teaching, Mitch enjoys spending quality time with family and friends or relaxing at the beach.

Pickleball Teaching Professional

Junior Pickleball Instructor

To achieve the Junior Certification, one must participate in the IPTPA Junior Certification Workshop, undergo a background check, and succeed in an online examination. As IPTPA Junior Instructors, our aim is to assure parents and guardians that their child will be in a secure setting and supervised by adults during their lessons.

All Junior Lessons follow the guidelines of Shape America (Society of Health and Physical Educators).
